Can I make funeral arrangements before a death is registered?

Yes, it is possible to begin making funeral arrangements before the death is registered. However, we may not be able to finalise certain details, 

such as the day and time of the funeral, before you have the death certificate.

No. We can help you plan the funeral as soon as you feel ready. 

Again, you won’t be able to make the final arrangements until the death certificate has been issued.

It is up to you who leads the service – a member of the clergy, a funeral celebrant, or even a family member or friend.  Many of our services are taken by David, who has been creating bespoke ceremonies for families since 2003.  If you have someone in mind to take the ceremony we will be able to liaise with them on your behalf.
